What changes on 1 December 2026
The Online Casino Gambling Act 2026 caps New Zealand at up to 15 licensed online casino brands. The DIA’s auction ended on 12 October 2026 with 11 entities winning the right to apply. From 1 December 2026, providers that haven’t applied must stop operating in New Zealand. King Billy isn’t on the list of entities the DIA published, so expect this offer to disappear for NZ players.
